What we believe
The Word of God is where we find our core beliefs at Apostolic Lighthouse Church. We believe the Bible teaches us foundational truths. Our teachings and ministries are rooted in biblical doctrines.
Beliefs
GOD
There is one, eternal God. He has manifested Himself to us as the Father (in creation), through His Son (in redemption), and as the Holy Spirit (which dwells in us).

THE BIBLE
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, and the authority for salvation and Christian living.

SALVATION
The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel by repentance (death of sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (resurrection).

REPENTANCE
Scripture teaches us that all have sinned, therefore separating us from God. By repenting we confess and turn away from sin.
WATER BAPTISM
Believers will adhere to scripture and be water baptized, by immersion, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through water baptism, our sins are washed away and we become new creatures in Christ.
HOLY GHOST
The Bible teaches the baptism of the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, remains active in the world today. The infilling of the Holy Ghost, with accompanying gifts, is the privilege of all believers.

CHRISTIAN LIVING
As Christians, we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today.
References: Mark 12:28-31, Hebrews 12:14, I Corinthians 12:8-10
THE CHURCH
The church is an assembly of believers, not a building, and represents the body of Christ on the earth today. It is one body made up of many members, diverse in their gifts and callings. The church is a light, offering hope to all mankind.
